Arcturus Retreat B&B is only 5km from Gibsons BC

Most visitors access British Columbia's Sunshine Coast via a short BC Ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver.  We are just up the hill from the Langdale Ferry terminal and are accessible by foot, bike, or auto.

Leave the car at home and the ferry is only $12.60/person return trip.  We would be happy to pick you up with prior notice to assist with luggage.  Sunshine Coast Transit stops down the street.  Check the schedule for routes and more details.

If you prefer to explore the Sunshine Coast in your car, we offer convenient free parking.

Be more adventurous and travel by personal watercraft or seaplane.  We are a short walk from the bus route that serves Gibsons & Sechelt.  Gibson's Marina is 5km and is also on the bus route.  Personal aircraft can access the Sechelt Airport.  Try these links for further details.

 Driving from Seattle  (approx 4 hours to Horseshoe Bay)  Take I-5 north to the Canada/US border.  Exit #2 immediately past the border crossing.  Roundabout onto 8th Ave for 1 mile.  Turn left onto Hwy 15 and proceed 11 miles to Hwy 1.  West on Hwy 1-TransCanada Hwy until it ends at Horseshoe Bay.

From Langdale Ferry Terminal  As you exit the terminal, turn right at the light toward Port Mellon.  Take the first left, Wharf Rd, to the top of the hill.  Left on Pike Rd into the cul-de-sac.
