Plan your entire trip via public transit.  Sounds crazy, but it's true and easier than you might think! 

Directions from Downtown Vancouver:

$13.45 Return fare passenger ferry ticket to Langdale-Sunshine Coast  Ferry Schedules  (BC seniors travel free Monday-Thursday)

We will greet you at the Langdale Ferry Terminal to assist with luggage and in 2 minutes you will be relaxing at Arcturus Retreat B&B. Enjoy the stunning views from our spacious deck or while taking a dip in our hot tub and you might not want to leave.

Sunshine Coast Transit stops down the street from Arcturus Retreat B&B.  As a bonus, we will furnish your first bus ticket.  Regular service to Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt and Halfmoon Bay.  Day passes are available for only $5.50 so you can jump on and off as much as you like.  

Flying into Vancouver?  The new Canada Line is now open providing light rail service to YVR.  Only 25 minutes from the airport to downtown and connect to the #257 Express bus to Horseshoe Bay as noted above.  Entire trip $7.50-8.75 depending on day and time.

Travelling from Seattle?  Yes, you can leave the car at home too.  Amtrak provides daily service from downtown Seattle to downtown Vancouver along with great views of the Pacific coastline at a very affordable price.  Two trains make the trip each day.    Train Info
